So last week I brought you the five free apps I use to run my online business, so this week I thought I would bring you the five paid apps I use to run my online business. So here they are!
I use PayPal to invoice my clients as the majority of them are overseas. PayPal is free if you don’t make any money but that’s not the point of being in business! PayPal charges a 2.6% + 0.30c transaction fee plus a currency conversion fee. In PayPal you can create invoices in any currency and apply any tax or GST as needed. It emails the invoice directly to your customer and you can also send reminder emails directly from PayPal. I also use the app on my phone so I can check my balance and I receive notifications when I either pay something with my PayPal account or receive a payment (obviously hearing the later notification is more fun!).
I use Hello Sign to send my out my client contracts. This allows my clients and myself to sign the contract digitally. It forms a legally binding contract. Hello Sign costs US$15 per month this allows you to have 1 template, 1 sender and unlimited documents. It is definitely worth the low fee. If you don’t need to use a template you can use their free account.
Finding awesome stock photos can be hard and if gorgeous feminine images suit your brand you’re going to want to check out Haute Stock. Rachel the founder, does an amazing job of taking gorgeous photos that are perfect for female based service, lifestyle or health businesses. You can join the stock library for only US 225/ year and you get instant access to over 700 gorgeous photos and unlimited downloads. The best part is new collections are added monthly, so there are always fresh new photos to use.
I love using Dropbox. It makes it so easy to store files that either your team or client has access too. Share and collaborate on files and access files from the Dropbox app on your phone. For only AU 12.99/month you get 1TB of storage, you can even set up your computer and website to backup to Dropbox.
I use at least one Adobe product each day. I use Adobe Acrobat (PDF editing, fillable forms), Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator (all for design) mostly and there is a stick of other apps in their suite . If you only need access to 1 app in the cloud you can do so for AU 19.99/month, the whole suite of programs is AU 49.99/month. My best tip is join their mailing list and keep an eye out for their specials. I was able to get a deal with the whole suite for AU 29.99/month.
I would love to know what apps you use to run your online business, let me know in the comments below.

That is some great advise and so ‘down to earth’ for business owners/operators or staff wanting an idea to revolutionise the business they work in and impress the boss.
Thanks Susan! Glad you enjoyed it, hope you are doing well! 🙂
