Every day I meet with coaches who have that light bulb moment when they realise that they are fluffing MORE than they are being productive.
They realise that they don’t have to achieve it all alone, they don’t have to work into the wee hours of the morning trying to fit it all in (whilst still being a mom and wife).
This is a really cool time in their business as they’re about to cut the fluff from their schedule and become more productive than they ever been!
What made them have this epiphany (and therefore implement the change?)
Asking this question to measure their ROI on their time.
How much did you earn this month divided by how many hours you worked in your business. This includes sales conversations, networking, writing, editing your website, all of it.
It’s that simple. No crazy formulas, no scary maths. That’s it.
If you earned $1,000 this month and worked 80 hours (only 20 hours per week) then your hourly rate was $12.50.
That’s right $12.50…..You are worth WAY more than that!
I understand that if you are only starting out that your “hourly rate” will be on a lower side as you build momentum. That’s okay! As long as all of the tasks that you are doing every day in your business are slowly growing your income then you’re on a good thing.
BUT if your rate of growth is too slow for your lifestyle OR if you don’t seem to be growing at all then something needs to change.
